The Alfa MiTo used to use the T-Jet 120 engine (badged TB 120), this was then upgraded to MultiAir, initially with 135bhp, then 140. The old T-Jet 150 / TB 155 engine had the same treatment and became the MultiAir 170bhp. So, they're right in that the basis of each engine is the same. However, the T-Jet is a lot more conventional than the MultiAir.
from what i can find in ePer:-the driveshafts of the Bravo 120 hp are the same as the 150hp Bravo.-the only other car that uses the same driveshafts seems to be the Lancia Nova Delta 844 ( 2008-2011).. basically the same gearbox, the same engine in the same platform.
when I had my remap in the punto done by angel, (months ago) they said they had ordered an import fiat 500 to start working on early, so give them a call, and if they dont already do a remap for the t-jet, I'm sure it wont be long.. the 150bhp t-jet in the bravo was tested in autoexpress this week at 0-60 in 8.3 seconds, so imagine what that would be like in the lighter punto! would be quick As far as I know its the same for both.
